Digital radiographs or digital x-rays are computer generated images that provide a safe and effective means of diagnosing cavities between the teeth and as well as problems below the gum line in areas, which are not otherwise clinically visible.
Instead of using the traditional x-ray film that must be developed and then fixed, this technology lets us take digital images of teeth, with the information going from a sensor to the computer, saving time, the environment and radiation exposure to the patient.
